I uberly miss the old conversations I've had (in y!m), so I tried transfering them from the old computer to the one I'm currently using. It works, and it has made me happy. But nothing beats talking to those persons again, just like the old times.
I'll go transfer every single conversation later.
P.S. Tasha you are correct. Maliit na light blue pala yung font na ginagamit ko dati. Nakalimutan ko na kasi yun.

I'm already planning the other PE class I'm going to take. Obviously I have to take PE 101 **haay**, so this just leaves me with one more class. Initially I've decided on running, but I am swayed by recent findings and now it makes me want to add one more class. BLEH. I shouldn't have taken Arnis... I had it in the wrong sem anyway.
I want to have TAEKWONDO.
and as for the ETC & Solar Face-Off Thingy... SIB and SAM STAND OUT! Oh yeah! I placed my bets on them ;)

Daniel Wu is loff. His haircut is so nice, I'd like to have it if I were a guy.
Now I'm craving for noodles. I want to eat noodles in a bowl using red plastic chopsticks. I want la paz batchoy right now, or whatever noodle dish that is with chopped onion leaves and shredded scrambled egg.
Now, back to watching the movie.

|from devilayu, Brokeback Mountain blurb from imdb
||[16 Nov 2004|11:26pm]
"Donnie Darko" star Jake Gyllenhaal was left in pain after shooting gay love scenes with Heath Ledger in new movie "Brokeback Mountain." The pair play cowboys who fall in love in the western - and Gyllenhaal found the shoot particularly punishing. He says, "Heath almost broke my nose in (a kissing) scene. He grabs me and he slams me up against the wall and kisses me. And then I grab him and I slam him up against the wall and I kiss him. And we were doing take after take after take. I got the sh*t beat out of me. We had other scenes where we fought each other and I wasn't hurting as badly as I did after that one."

Muli namang umihip sa akin
ang hangin ng pag-iisa
Liwanag kang dagling sumilaw sa 'king
Dumadalas ang minsan
Kahit walang dahilan

we went back for our NBI clearances, but since we arrived at exactly lunch time, we decided to fill in our stomachs first. my parents, 6 yr. old shobe (as the lady called her) and i went to ongpin and ate at this chinese restaurant. i really forgot the name since there were several of them lined up along the streets. the place is not glamorous but sometimes its the ambience and (MSG enriched?) food that's best about it. we're eating real chinese food, and not chowking or some other chinese fast food. LOL. i luff the fried rice.
and of course, would i miss the chance to visit the incense whiffed heaven that is binondo! i only got to visit 2 stores, very quickly too. my parents get a little impatient at times. i only got to buy vcds again, but then again, it's not like they have it on dvd.
bought the following titles at the first shop:
(it was nice that the chinese lady understood my tagalog clearly :])
remember that i got the VCD version, same cover though. it's Jeon Ji Hyun again (of My Sassy Girl and Windstruck fame). so yes, it's a korean movie.
Turn Left Turn Right
i gave up on the DVD, i cannot friggin find it! takeshi kaneshiro again, yahoo!
it was a little expensive at that store. decided to grab some more at my suki. harhar.
i absolutely haven't watched a single one of these movies. i've only heard of the first one, and the rest were personally recommended and picked by her.
My Wife is 18</center></center>
i heard this is a great movie. ( come, read the summary!!Collapse ) Much like My Little Bride, eh?
A Love Story
this movie's out of stock in yesasia. must be that good! haha!
ooh, it's faye wong!
Killing me Tenderly
sammi cheng and leon lai. the lady told me to get it bec. besides it being a great movie, i should get it because of leon lai (david). guapo daw! LoL! she even showed me a copy of everyday is valentine to point him out.
the lady recommended other titles too, but the ones i bought already cost 1000+ so...hahahaha. sorry. it was funny cause she also gave me movies (and i think i have some of them) with guapo actors. LOL!! :D
now i'm hungry. i have a long weekend to watch movies (and study math 20. haha). i'll go start on chungking express later! takeshi kaneshiro again! :D
|#03 - Windstruck
||[18 Oct 2004|10:19pm]
title: Windstruck 'Yeochinso' (2004)
summary: Bad tempered police officer Kyung Jin (Jun Ji Hyeon) has zero tolerance for crime. When she spots a guy running down the street holding a purse and an old lady giving chase, Kyung Jin runs him down and beats the living tar out of him. The culprit claims that he is innocent; that his name is Myung Woo (Chang Hyuk) and a high school art teacher, and that he was simply chasing down the real culprit who stole the old lady's purse.
A few days later, Myung Woo returns to the police station to do his "community service" by riding with a police officer to observe local law enforcement. Much to his surprise, he is paired with "Dirty Harriet" for the ride. As if pairing up with the rather ballsy Kyung Jin wasn't bad enough, Myung Woo is pulled along when she spots a large drug deal going down, with all the thugs carrying submachine guns and all she had was a six-shooter! But as they say. . . opposites attract!
comments: Windstruck is not romantic romantic, it's SAD! I found the first part a little dragging, as most Korean movies are (123 minutes for this movie. Notice how Korean movies are lengthier than others). The latter half is the one that really jerked a few tears from me. Expect great acting by Jeon Ji-hyeon. Although once again she plays the role of the agressive tomboy, just like in My Sassy Girl. And may I commend the soundtrack, I liked it. The most interesting 'twist' (if it is considered such) would be the ending. Although technically it's not, Windstruck seems to be, in a way, the story preceding My Sassy Girl! Director kwak Jae-Yong, who also directed My Sassy Girl, probably made look that way. (But again, technically it's not) Since it made me cry...or has gotten me teary-eyed once again, I'll give it a perfect rating. (This is RIA speaking, take note) ♥♥♥♥♥
